Altercation with police case
ISLAMABAD
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has approved bail plea of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha in altercation with police case. Islamabad High Court has issued notice on the appeal plea against conviction in Controversial tweets case.
Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of ATC Islamabad heard the case related to altercation between police and Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chattha.
The court granted bail to both of the accused.
The court directed to file surety bonds worth Rs 10000 each.
The counsel Riasat Ali Azad took the plea this baseless case was brought to fore all of a sudden.
Case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha is registered in police station Secretariat.
On the other side appeal pleas from Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha against their conviction in controversial tweets case came up for hearing in Islamabad High Court .
The court while issuing notice on appeal pleas has sought reply from National Cyber Crimes Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on petition seeking suspension of the conviction.
