Court orders QHAMC for resumption of OPD services


Peshawar High Court on Tuesday ordered Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex Nowsehra to resume its services at the hospital with immediate effect from today Wednesday. The hospital had suspended services of OPD and administration for eight days owing to health professionals’ strike.
It is pertinent to mention here that Peshawar High Court had taken the Suo moto and directed the authority concerned for resumption of services at the hospital with immediate effect.
“ I am directed to refer to the subject noted and to state that the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Peshawar on 18.01.2022, in a suo moto action, wherein your good self was also present, directed for resumption of services at Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex, Nowshera with immediate effect,” said a notification issued by health department. Moreover, the KP health department also accepted the resignations of four members of Board of Governors of MTI-Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex. The members include Dr Tahir Khan, Dr Irshad Ahmad, Anjum Khattak, Malik Aftab.
