Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has rejected Imran Khan plea for conducting trial of all May 9 incident related cases simultaneously.
13 cases pertaining to May 9 incident came up for hearing in ATC Saturday.
Public prosecutor and counsels for the accused persons appeared in the court.
The petition said all the cases and allegations are alike. All cases be tried at a time.
Public prosecutor opposed the plea informing the court that every case pertains to separate police station.
The court while rejecting the plea for simultaneous trial of all the cases adjourned the hearing of GHQ attack case and 13 cases related to May 9 on April 9 and April 12 respectively.
Copies of challan of the cases were distributed among the accused during the hearing of the cases.
Accused included former federal minister Sheikh Rashid as well.
Challans of all 13 cases pertaining to May 9 were presented in the court.
Challan of attack on GHQ gate-4 case was also submitted in the court.
Challan of torching Metro bus station Murree road, building of intelligence agency in Sadar and attack on army museum cases was also filed in the court.
