Violation of section 144 case
ISLAMABAD
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has reserved judgment on bail confirmation plea of Asad Umar in violation of section 144 case following the completion of arguments.
Prosecutor admitted Asad Umar did not cause damage to property.
The bail plea from Asad Umar came up for hearing before additional sessions judge Sikandar Khan Saturday.
Asad Umar appeared in the court along with his counsel Sardar Masroof Khan.
The defence counsel while giving the arguments said neither Asad Umar delivered speech nor any video of Asad Umar is there. There were no evidence of presence of Asad Umar in PTI rally in F-9 park. False case has been registered against Asad Umar. Investigation officer presented no video evidence against Asad Umar.
Prosecutor said non bailable sections are mentioned in the case against Asad Umar. Two sections mentioned in Asad Umar case are non bailable.
Judge Sikandar Khan inquired how will you prove presence of Asad Umar on scene.
Prosecutor said there can be any incident in the past on the basis of which case will have been registered against Asad Umar.
Judge Sikandar Khan while moving to prosecutor remarked you are not giving arguments. You are making a speech. One woman remained in jail for seven months. She proved innocent after the forensic was carried out. I am not talking about Asad Umar. I am talking about common man. Any name is put for nominating in the case. What is role of Asad Umar in the offence.
Prosecutor admitted Asad Umar has no role in the speech.
Asad Umar said it is not possible that politician is there on his place and he does not deliver speech.
The judge questioned from prosecutor was damage caused to security property due to Asad Umar. Were flower pots broken.
Prosecutor admitted Asad Umar did not cause damage to property.
Judge Sikandar Khan reserved judgment on Asad Umar bail confirmation plea which will be announced on June 19.
