Today, on 22.02.2023, upon the directions of DG FIA Mohsin Hassan Butt and Director KP Mujahid Akbar Khan to conduct crack down against illegal business of Hawala Hindi in Chowk yadgar peshawar KPk
3 Raids were conducted by FIA CBC Peshawar at Chowk Yadgar in supervision of Shafqat Jamal, AD-CBC and arrested three accused, details as under:
1. Jaffer s/o Muhammad Hassan, Afghan national along with recovery Amounting Rs 6,10000/(six lac ten thousand) and receipts of Hawala Hundi.
2. Ishaq s/o Gul Dad along with Rs. Amounting 4200000/(42 lac) and receipt of Hundi/hawala.
3. Imran Khan s/o Ali Khan along with Rs. Amounting 3500000/ (thirty five lac) along with receipt of Hundi/hawala
The accused were doing illegal business of hawala Hundi without any legal authority. The cases are being registered under relevant sections of law in Foreign Regulation Act 1947.
