The Excise Department KP along with the officials of the district administration cracked down on illegal fake number plates, tinted glasses and driving without a license. Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Iftikhar Ahmad on different reports received directed Additional Assistant Commissioner Adinzai and Traffic Magistrate Nasir Ali Khan with local traffic police and Dir Levies, took action under the Provincial Vehicle Motor Ordinance 1965 and Pakistan Motor Vehicle Rules 1969 against illegal black glasses and driving without a license.
AAC Adinzai on this occasion also warned all those with tented classes installed in your vehicle, to voluntarily remove otherwise legal action will be taken against them. It should be noted that crackdowns are ongoing under the supervision of the concerned Assistant Commissioner wherein dozens of vehicles were either impounded, challaned or imposed penalties under traffic rules Act.
