Properties worth millions recovered
PESHAWAR
City police have intensified crackdown against land grabbers across the district and recovered properties worth millions of rupees.
In the jurisdiction of Shahpur police station, houses and plots worth millions of rupees have been successfully recovered from illegal occupation and handed back to their rightful owners.
According to city police spokesman, several affected citizens had submitted complaints to Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad, stating that members of the land mafia had unlawfully occupied their valuable residential properties and plots within the Shahpur area.
Taking notice of these incidents, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) issued special directives for strict legal action against those involved, along with immediate recovery of the illegally occupied properties.
Operations were carried out under the supervision of DSP Chamkani Circle Muhammad Ashfaq Khan accompanied by Station House Officer (SHO) Shahpur, Fawad Khan, along with a heavy police contingent, reclaiming the illegally occupied houses and plots and restoring them to their original owners.
The complainants expressed gratitude to CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad and the Peshawar Police for their timely and effective action.
