ISLAMABAD
Meeting between Pakistan and Russia regarding shopping crude oil from Russia will held between both countries from 18 to 20 Jan.
According to sources high level delegation led by Russian energy minister will arrive Pakistan Today (Wednesday).
Delegation will be comprised of energy, railway, communication, industry and trade officers and experts.
Crude oil and other energy goods will be bought from Russia on 30% cheap rates.
Payments and shipping method will be discussed during this meeting. $2 billion will be saved annually in case of buying cheap energy goods. Pakistan’s refineries has declared the production of petroleum goods possible from Russian crude oil.
Pakistan will discuss $40 and $50 per barrel oil and 200, 000 tons monthly shopping from Russia and 50% oil agreement will also be discussed.
Development of long term LNG north south gas project long term agreement is also possible in the meeting.
