Islamabad: On the night of February 8, more than 32,000 tweets were posted in a massive social media campaign urging the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to delay the CSS 2025 exam, which is scheduled for February 15. The campaign, led by prominent social activist and journalist Abdul Ghani, has gained significant traction across the country.
Abdul Ghani, along with other key figures such as Ilyas Afridi and Khateeb Khan from Azad Kashmir, has been vocal in their call for a postponement, stressing the uncertainty faced by aspirants due to the pending results of CSS 2024. Additionally, female candidates, including Minahil Khan, have also joined the cause, echoing the same demands for a delay.
The campaign has garnered widespread attention, with influential figures such as renowned journalist Hamid Mir sharing a video message urging the FPSC Chairman to consider postponing the exam. In a show of solidarity, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi recently met with CSS aspirants, expressing support for their demand.
As the pressure mounts from both social media and legal channels, candidates remain hopeful that the Islamabad High Court will intervene and direct the FPSC to delay the exam, allowing aspirants more time to prepare and avoid the stress of overlapping timelines.
