LAHORE: Chairperson of Carpet Training Institute (CTI) Ejazur Rehman has proposing the restructuring of the training institutes supported by the Export Development Fund as per international standards said that we have to develop our export sectors according to the new trends of global markets. While talking to the delegation of stakeholders of Carpet Training Institute, he said that such training institutes came into existence under the Export Development Fund who provided high-quality support in various fields, including developing better skilled workers, especially for export-oriented industries and due to which Pakistan was able to compete with rival countries in exports in global markets. He said that according to an assessment, there is a change in the trends regarding exports in the world; therefore, there is a need to bring innovation in other training institutions including the Carpet Training Institute, to reorganize the structure according to international standards and especially to increase all kinds of capacity. “Access to latest technologies and various training programs have to be designed according to global trends so that we can match the trends of global markets in exports,” he added. He said that we hope that the Export Development Fund will give a new dimension to the ongoing cooperation process with the training institutes.
