Former federal minister and Pakistan people’s party leader, Nawabzada Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti said that they had high hopes from the current Chief Justice that he would restore the reputation of the judiciary, but the stains on judiciary have increased.
He expressed these views while addressing a news conference at Mardan press club. Khawaja Hoti added that we were crying for former chief justice Bandial and now the decisions of the current Supreme Court are also controversial. He argued that lawyers are not allowed to speak in the court. He argued that the situation is not suitable for elections.
He added that the people are only clapping their hands, they are not asking the leaders for a manifesto, the people are equally involved in the deterioration of the situation.
He added that political parties have to answer the questions. He said that by excluding the major political parties from the electoral process, the upcoming elections will be disrespected. He pointed out that the government formed as a result of the current elections will not last for more than one year.
Khawaja Hoti added that he is a democratic man and believes in democracy however if he took part in the current election it would negate his words. He added that therefore he cannot participate in the elections. He argued that the dollar is stable on the strength of the stick and if the political government comes, there will be a storm of inflation in the country.
He argued that elections are dust in the eyes of the people and it will prove to be a gift of inflation for the people. Khawaja Hoti said that he is a democratic man and believes in democracy. He said that there should have been first accountability and then elections, but this did not happen, which will make the problems more serious. He argued that it is not expected that clean water will come out of the pile of dirt, but only dirt will come out of the pile of dirt. He said that in the current situation, there is also a big mistake made by the political workers.
The politicians delivered speeches and the workers clapped. He added that the workers of the political parties are signing their death warrants and he feels sorry for these poor people.
Khawaja Hoti added that the red, blue, green and other flags and claps have brought the country to this stage and if this satiation continues it would be a great bad lock on the country and it will become our misfortune. Khawaja Hoti pointed out that only 23 days left for the general election but there is still uncertainty, the situation in the country is worse, the government itself says that there is danger and issues terror alerts.
He argued that if the government knows all about this satiation then why does the government take trouble of elections on its heads.
