Czech Ambassador’s visit to Swat valley strengthens Pak-Czech Republic ties

Three-day visit by H.E. Ladislav Steinhubel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, and his wife Dagmar Steinhublova to Swat Valley has solidified the friendship between Pakistan and the Czech Republic.
The esteemed guests were invited by Sardar Waqar Shahzad Advocate and were treated to an array of unforgettable experiences showcasing the region’s beauty, hospitality, and rich heritage.
During their stay, the Ambassador and his wife visited Swat Valley’s most breathtaking tourist destinations, including Malamjaba, Ushu, and Madyan.
They were mesmerized by the scenic routes, winding roads, and forested hills, and enjoyed relaxing moments by the riverbank, capturing precious memories along the way.
The visit also highlighted the cultural depth of Swat Valley, with a visit to the Mingora shopping market, where the guests explored local handicrafts and dry fruits.
A tree plantation event at Gujjar House Kanju, followed by a Cake Cutting Ceremony, celebrated the Pakistan-Czech Republic friendship.
The Ambassador’s generous gesture of gifting the host’s family will be cherished for years to come. The visit concluded with a stop at Manyar, providing a glimpse into Swat Valley’s rich Buddhist history.
