KHYBER: To get inform of problems of general masses, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khyber distract arranged Koli Kachehry here at Landi Kotal jirga hall on Wednesday. Beside DC, Khyber district Mehmood Aslam, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Imran other administration officials, district officials of education, health, Communication and Work(C&W) building and highway, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), irrigation etc. and large number of locals from Shinwari,Afridi and Shelmani tribes participated in the moot. Speaking on the occasion DC Mehmood Aslam said that presence of huge number of locals in the Koli Kachehry verified that there was lack of basic necessities in the area. “Residents of ex-tribal region expected early provision of facilities, promised them at time of merging but at will take time as the federal and provincial governments are striving hard to make full proof mechanism to remove sense of deprivation of the tribesmen”, he argued.
