Kandhkot: In a bid to intensify efforts against mosquito–diseases, Deputy Commissioner kashmore Agha Sher Zaman Pathan held a high level meeting with health department officials and other stakeholders at his office here Thursday. The meeting was attended by District Cahirman and vice chairman district council Gul Mohammad jakhrani and Altaf Ahmed khoso respectively, Additional Deputy Commissioner kashmore Ghazanfar Ali shah, District Health Officer Syed Aijaz Ahmed Shah, Malaria focal person Dr Yonis Noonari and others. The meeting reviewed the ongoing anti dengue and Malaria campaign and strategizing ways to enhance their effectiveness. The DC kashmore stressed that effective implementation of preventive measures requires collective efforts from local government, health and municipal authorities.
The DC urged to citizens to play an vital role in preventing the spreed of Dengue and Malaria.
He emphasized the need for public awareness campaigns to educate people about the importance of eliminating mosquito breeding sites, using of mosquito nets and seeking medical attention promptly if symptoms occur.Finally DC assured that district administration would provide all necessary support to the health department to ensure success of ongoing campaigns.
