Zulfiraq Dad, a resident of Gharibabad, Dubai, said that two years ago, he put his thumbs and signed in the register to transfer the land in the name of his daughter in Tehsil Rustam, but neither the land was transferred to his daughter’s name nor his thumbs and signatures registered in the property department are being cancelled.
Adressing to a news conference at the Mardan press club he said that his property in Mouza Katta Khat kata No. 101/95/3 is 12 marla plot out of 62 marla. In order to register the daughter’s name, he went to revenue department, then a man named Jawad who was present there put his thumbs in the register and took his signature and sent him away saying that after a week the plot will be transferred to his daughter’s name.
After finding out, he went to the office and was told that the land concerned is cultivated and cannot die in it. After that, he met a man named Mohsin Khan, who took two thumbs up from him on two green farms and said that after a week the land will transfered but later he also refused saying that the land was cultivated.
He said that he went to Rustam Tehsildar in this regard and asked him to cancel his thumbs and signatures but he flatly denied. He alleged that he strongly suspected that the people of the finance department had transferred his land to someone else.
He appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Commissioner of Mardan and the Deputy Commissioner to take action in this connection.
