DG Excise visits narcotics control wing, inspects various sections

Director General Excise Department Ahmadzaib visited Narcotics Control Wing and inspected various administrative sections of the Wing.
The performance review of Narcotics Control Wing and Excise Police Stations for 5 months 2024 was held under the chairmanship of Director General Excise, Spokesman Excise.
Safyan Haqqani, Director Narcotics Control, gave a detailed briefing to the Director General Excise about the Narcotics Control Wing during the meeting.
During the meeting, Director General Excise expressed strong determination against drugs and issued the following orders:
He said It is the first priority to protect the students and young generation of educational institutions from the scourge of drugs and to keep them away from this scourge.
Punishment and punishment law will be strictly followed, people should be treated kindly and no chance of any kind of complaint should be given.
Officers and officials will be encouraged for good performance, while strict disciplinary action will be taken for negligence and violation of discipline.
Ahmadzaib said that new officers will be appointed in place of circle officers and SHOs with unsatisfactory performance and will not be eligible for posting in police stations in the future, a deadline of two weeks has been given for outstanding and satisfactory performance.
To improve the investigation system and increase the capacity of the investigation officers, issued instructions for modern training program, and issued instructions to make the Central Investigation Cell narcotics control effective.
Detailed discussions, recommendations will be sent to the provincial government on the rehab center and teaching professional skills for the treatment of drug addicts and their return to a healthy life.
A detailed discussion was held on increasing the number of excise stations in major districts along with various measures for the effective prevention of drugs.
Issued instructions to prepare an effective and comprehensive program within a week about the awareness of the harmful and destructive physical, financial and social effects of drugs.
