Director General of Law and Human Rights Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Anila Mahfooz Durrani has taken strict notice of the brutal murder of a four year old girl in district Charsadda and directed police and district administration to immediately arrest the criminals, said a handout.
DG Anila Mahfooz Duurani on Thursday expressed grief over the inhuman killing of four-year-old gir in Charsadda district and expressed sympathy with her family.
“Crimes against children are increasing day by day. To address this, child desks have been set up in the offices of Deputy Commissioners and District Police Officers in all the districts,” She said.
DG of Law and Human Rights also sought a detail report about the incident from Deputy Commissioner Charsadda and the District Police Officer within seven days.
The court will be assisted and the killer involved in the murder of an innocent girl will be brought to justice and an example will be set for all such criminal minded people who will also help in maintaining peace in the society, She added.
A week earlier, unknown assailants in the district slaughtered a 4-year-old girl.
Family members told police that 4-year-old identified as Maryam had suddenly disappeared from Shah Bada Mutabar Korona last evening.
According to police, the girl was killed by unknown assailants with a sharp instrument and dumped her body on the banks of the Jundi River in the limits of Prangh police station.
