Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said his party wants to strengthen national institutions and called for implementation of consistent policies in the country.
While responding to various queries during informal talks with a group of newsmen and different delegations on Sunday, Shah emphasized that dialogue is the only way to bring political and economic stability in the country.
“We invite people to support and go with us together for peace, economic stability, prosperity and development in the country instead of personal interests”,
Faiq stressed it is highly essential that everyone should come forward and work jointly for the sake of the country’s betterment, progress and prosperity.
The ATP chief said politicians had weakened the national institutions, as they introduced a culture of favoritism, nepotism and bribery.
He added police, law enforcement agencies, judiciary, election commission and other major institutions were ruined through implementation of meritless policies and interests-based initiatives, for which it has been necessitated to bring reforms from top to bottom level.
Calling the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as ‘white elephant’, Mr Shah demanded formation of National Agriculture Bureau by abolishment of the NAB, which could not only benefit farmers but it will also prove beneficial for people and the country.
The party leader asserted there should be serious miseries of 250million people by relinquishing ‘tug of war’ for power.
He added that the country couldn’t move by consistently obtaining loans.
Shah suggested setting up of special zones in Pakistan’s diplomatic missions abroad to adopt policy of diplomacy for investment and exports.
He also proposed special training programs should be launched for Pakistan’s embassy staffs’ regarding marketing and investment and targets for enhancing trade and export should also be set, as without such initiatives, the national economy cannot be improved.
