LAKKI MARWAT: DIG Bannu region Abdul Ghafoor Afridi has said that the police force is a family and ensuring the welfare of its personnel, addressing their grievances promptly and encouraging good performance are among the fundamental responsibilities of the command. He was addressing a police Darbar held for police officers and personnel at the Police Lines in Lakki Marwat. DPO Lakki Marwat Sajjad Ahmad Shahzada, all SDPOs, SHOs, police personnel and office staff attended the gathering. The DIG interacted directly with officers and personnel and listened to their problems, suggestions and requests in detail. He issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned officers for the immediate resolution of certain genuine grievances. He also distributed certificates of appreciation and cash rewards among officers and personnel who had demonstrated outstanding performance. Appreciating their efforts, he said recognition and encouragement of hard work, dedication and professional performance would continue. Mr Afridi directed the officers and personnel to perform their duties with honesty, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
