ISLAMABAD: Case related to disqualification of PTI MNA Sohail Sultan has been fixed for hearing in Federal Constitutional Court (FCC). A two members bench of FCC presided over by Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi will hear the case. Court has issued notice to Attorney General (AG), Election Commission (EC) and other respondents. Sohail Sultan has challenged speaker reference and powers for EC proceedings. EC was conducting proceedings against Sohail Sultan on reference related to his being government employee before election. The FCC has stopped EC from initiating proceedings against Sohail Sultan.
