KHYBER: Al-Khidmat Foundation, Landi Kotal chapter launched a donation collection campaign for the people of Palestine here at Bacha Chawk, on Thursday. It is to be stated here that on 13th day of the Gaza invasion by Israel over 3478 Palestinians have been killed and 13000 have got wounded. The volunteers of the Foundation beside workers of Jamat-e-Islam had set up camp in the main bazaar of Landi Kotal for the purpose. Number of political workers of various parties and general masses visited the camp and contributed their financial support for the affected people of Palestine. Speaking on the occasion, vice-President Al-Khidmat district Khyber Murad Hussain Afridi said that on the call of high leadership of Jamat-e-Islami, they initiated the donation drive aimed to gather financial help for those needy and innocent Palestinians who have lost everything from the air strikes. He added that Israel continuously overlooked the international estimations and besieged Gaza and endlessly targeted the residential blocks, hospitals etc. that caused huge human and property loss. “We stand shoulder by shoulder with our Palestine brothers in the critical hours and will continue our support to them till they get their liberation and self-determination,” he remarked. As per Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, the organization is joining forces with local partners. We are channeling emergency medical resources to hospitals in dire need and getting food to families who had to leave their homes.
