DPO Dera inaugurates Police Check Post at Bhakkar Bridge

The process of improving police infrastructure continues as an inter-provincial police check post was inaugurated within the limits of Gomal University Police Station. District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada said that reconstruction, repair, and renovation of police outposts and stations built during the British era have begun at a fast pace.
As part of the vision of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, the inter-provincial police check post at Dera–Bhakkar Pul was formally inaugurated by DPO Dera. SP Saddar Muhammad Nawab Khan, DSP Prowa Sardar Alamgir Khan, SHO Gomal University Police Station Fahim Mumtaz Khan, Pay Officer Moin Nawaz Baloch, along with other officers and local dignitaries, participated in the ceremony.
On this occasion, DPO Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada was briefed about the renovation work, planted a sapling, and offered prayers. Talking to media representatives, he said that the ongoing reconstruction and repair project will not only boost police morale but also provide convenience to the public through newly established centers. He added that efforts are being made to further strengthen the relations between police and the community.
Work on the newly constructed infrastructure will commence within one week, while the repair and renovation phase has entered its final stages.
