To provide much-needed relief to local residents, a facilitation center was inaugurated in Landi Kotal tehsil compound last day.
District Police Officer Waqar Ahmad, accompanied by SHO Landi Kotal Ishrat Shinwari unveiled the plaque to formally inaugurate the center.
Speaking on the occasion DPO, Khyber Waqar Ahmad said that the initiative aim was to improve access to essential services for citizens in the region.
Residents of remote like Shalman and Bazaar Zakha Khel previously faced considerable difficulties in terms of long distances and additional transportation costs while traveling to the Jamrud facilitation center, he remarked.
He maintained that with the establishment of the new center in Landi Kotal, citizens can now access more than 25 police and other civic services under one roof, significantly reducing both time and expenses.
Earlier, DPO, Khyber inspected the center and urged the staff to treat citizens with courtesy, address their issues promptly, and extend maximum possible assistance to them.
He emphasized that the center should ensure immediate relief and complete satisfaction for the public.
The citizens lauded the newly inaugurated facility and expected that it would greatly enhance service delivery.
