Malik Sher Khan Foundation (MSK), in collaboration with Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM), organized an Eid gift distribution ceremony at Sarhadi Yateem Khana.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, gifts comprising new clothes and shoes were distributed among 55 orphan children to enable them to celebrate the festival like other children.
According to a press release, Chairman Malik Sher Khan Foundation, Engineer Adil Nawaz, and Chief Executive Officer WSSCM, Shahid Khan, attended the ceremony as chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Adil Nawaz and Shahid Khan emphasized that orphaned children are an integral part of society, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure their health, safety, and well-being for the overall development of society. They stated that placing a hand on the head of an orphan is a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W).
They further remarked that it is our foremost duty to share the joys of Eid-ul-Fitr not only with our own children but also with the underprivileged and orphaned children of society. They assured that their organizations remain committed to supporting the education and training of orphan children and that their doors are always open for their welfare and development.
