DPO Swat conducts surprise visit to local police stations

In light of the current security situation, District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Muhammad Umar Khan, conducted a surprise inspection of Matta, Shakardara, and Kanju police stations.
During his visit, DPO Swat thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements at each station.
He also inspected of internal and external security measures, boundary walls, and condition of police registers, ongoing cases, CCTV surveillance, crime charts, and online records.
The DPO focused on the operational readiness of the police stations, particularly the personnel on security duty.
He checked the officers stationed at the main gates and watch towers, emphasizing the importance of using bulletproof jackets and helmets, as well as maintaining vigilance against suspicious activities.
In his address to the police officers, DPO Swat stressed the need for timely resolution of public issues and encouraged personnel to engage with the community in a polite and respectful manner. Mr Khan also urged the officers to take precautionary measures for their own safety during duty and to remain proactive in conducting intelligence-based operations against criminal elements.
