District Police Officer (DPO) Tank Waqar Ahmad Khan on Tuesday said that special attention has been paid to maintain law and order situation in the district, adding that security of newly merged areas was key priority of police and government taking all possible steps towards development and prosperity of the areas.
He made these remarks while formally inaugurating the police station in Sarghar area of Jandola sub-division.
DPO Tank on this occasion also planted tree and special prayers were offered for the establishment of long-lasting peace and the country’s security and prosperity.
DSP Sub-Division Jandola Alamgir Khan and SHO Police Station Sarghar Ishaq Khan along with other officers of Tank Police and dignitaries of the area were also present in the inauguration ceremony.
Addressing the opening ceremony, DPO Waqar Ahmad Khan said that the Tank Police was using all available resources to ensure the protection of life and property of the citizens and the establishment of lasting peace and order and special attention
Later on, Waqar Ahmed Khan also visited various checkpoints and reviewed all the related matters except cleanliness and records and to implement legal actions against all kinds of crimes, smuggling, drug selling and anti-social activities.
