KHYBER, Dec 06: After assuming charge, the District Police Officer (DPO), Khyber Waqar Ahmad visited the police station, Landi Kotal on Saturday and checked the record of it.
Received by Station House Officer (SHO) of Landi Kotal police station Ishrat Shinwari and other officials on his arrival.
The district police inspected various sections of the police station and checked records of routine processes.
The SHO briefed him of crime rate and overall competence of the police.
Speaking on the occasion DPO, Khyber Waqar Ahmad said that the police force was responsible to curb the social crimes and to uphold police confidence among citizens in addition to restoring calmness in the area.

Meanwhile, the DPO, Khyber also examined the holding center in Landi Kotal and examined facilities being provided to the repatriated Afghan families.
