Dr. Tariq chairs review meeting regarding upcoming Ijtma-e-Aam

Ameer Jamaat-e-IslamiPunjab Dr. Tariq Saleem, chaired a review and consultation meeting regarding the participation of women in the upcoming Ijtma e Aam, which will be held at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, on November 21, 22, and 23. The meeting also reviewed arrangements and preparations for the historic event.
The session was attended by Ms. SaminaSaeed, General Secretary of the Women’s Section, Ahmed Salman Baloch, incharge of the Women’s Section, and other senior members. Addressing the participants, Dr. Tariq Saleem stated that the upcoming Ijtma-e-Aam will be oneof the largest in the country’s history, bringing together millions of men and women from across Pakistan, representing all schools of thought.
He emphasized that the event would mark the beginning of a movement aimed at transforming the current exploitative system rather than merely changing faces. He further said that Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, will present a comprehensive plan for systemic change and outline a peaceful national resistance and struggle under the slogan “Change the System.”
Dr. Tariq Saleem stated that women from all regions of the country, as well as foreign delegates from over 80 countries, will participate in the Ijtma-e-Aam. Participants from Sindh,Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Hazara, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan will take part, transcending divisions of color, tribe, and sectarianism. He concluded that the people of Pakistan are increasingly disillusioned with the out dated and oppressive system and are ready to unite for meaningful and peaceful change under Jamaat-e-Islami’s vision.
