Dr Yasmin, Cheema’s Judicial remand extended

The judicial remand of PTI former minister Dr Yasmin Rashid and former governor Punjab Umar Sarfraz Cheema has been extended for 11 days each in Jinnah House attack case. PTI leader and former provincial minister was presented in ATC Lahore on expiry of judicial remand in the cases of torching PML-N office, attack on Askari tower and Shadman police station. The investigation officer took the plea before the court Dr Yasmin is facing the charges of attacking the PML-N office in Model Town, attack on Askari tower and torching Police station Shadman.

The investigation officer requested the court to extend the judicial remand of Yasmin Rashid in four cases.

The court while extending judicial remand of Yasmin Rashid for 11 days ordered her to appear before it on September 01.

On the other hand Umar Sarfraz Cheema former governor Punjab arrested in attack on Jinnah house and arson cases was presented in the court.

Police presented him in the court on wheelchair being unwell and requested the court to extend his judicial remand.

The court extended his judicial remand for 11 days and ordered him to appear before it again on September 01.
