Nowshera: Nowshera Risalpur police foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs in public transport. Drugs were recovered from a woman’s sandals while men’s slippers. Both men and women were arrested on the spot. A man and a woman were smuggling drugs in public transport. A lady constable along with them blocked the road near Rashkai Interchange. A search of the women was also carried out by a lady constable and heroin was also recovered from the woman’s sandals. After weighing the heroin, a total of 1.2 kg of heroin was found.
