Spokesperson condemns attack on policemen in Lakki Marwat
PESHAWAR
The spokesperson of the provincial government Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that early and transparent general elections could save the country from further polarization and financial crises, saying the incumbent federal government should announce the polls as soon as possible or face Haqeeqi Azadi March in next couple of days.
“If the imported government is well-wisher of the people and country, it should announce elections as soon as possible,” he added.
He expressed these views in a statement released from his office here on Wednesday.
Barrister Saib alleged the government of economy mismanagement and ongoing historic inflation in the country, adding that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership was incompetent and unable to steer the country out of financial and political crises. He admitted that ongoing political crises were severely damaging the country and its image.
“The ongoing economic and political crisis in the country has caused irreparable damage to the country. Therefore, in the general elections, the people will take revenge from the incompetent and corrupt PDM rulers with the power of their votes,” he added.
Mohammad Ali Saif maintained that the recent by-elections were won by PTI chief and former premier Imran Khan.
The incumbent government in the centre is responsible for the economic and political mess.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, strongly condemned the firing on the police mobile in Lakki Marwat.
The sacrifices of the police personnel will not go in vain.
He expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of the police personnel in the firing incident and said that the KP government is standing with the bereaved families in this hour of grief.
Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has taken notice of the sad incident and those involved in the heinous attack would be arrested soon.
