BARKHAN/DG KHAN: A moderate earthquake jolted different areas of district Barkhan and Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday night at 11:41 PM. According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), tremour measuring 4.8 on Richter scale were felt in different areas of district Barkhan of Balochistan and Fort Munro in Dera Ghazi Khan. The quake created panic among the residents of the said areas fell slept in their homes. However, no causality or property damages were reported from the areas jolted by quake. The epi-centre of quake of was stated to be 15 kilometer North-West of Fort Munro, 50 kilometer deep inside earth crust. INP
