ISLAMABAD: Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police has arrested nine outlaws and recovered 3.945 kilogram heroin, 7.850 kilogram hashish and other narcotics from them, a police spokesman said. He said that effective crackdown is underway against drug peddlers in the city following directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar. Following the information about sale of narcotics by drug pusher Shamshad in sector E-11, he said SP (Investigation) Sardar Ghayas Gul constituted a team under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan. This team including Inspector Muhammad Azam, ASI Suleman Shah and others raided at the informed place and arrested drug peddler besides recovery of 1.050 kilogram hashish, 45 gram ice, seven gram cocaine and 20 tranquilizer pills.
