Election Commission (EC) has disqualified and de-notified Senator Murad Saeed The notification issued by EC said Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi had awarded 10 years sentence to Murad Saeed. According to EC press release disqualification took place under article 63(1)(h) of the constitution . General seat of Senate from KP was declared vacant. Senator Murad Saeed has not attended even one session of Senate eversince he has become senator. Senator Murad Saeed has not even taken oath as senator.
