Election Commission (EC) has issued notice to Zia ul Rehman brother of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for violating election code of conduct during Local Bodies (LB) polls.
The notice has been issued by EC to Zia ul Rehman for violating election code of conduct during LB polls in Dera Ismail Khan (D.I. Khan). Maulana Zia ul Rehman has also been summoned in EC district office DI Khan on February 05.
It has been said in the notice issued by EC that his pictures have been found printed on election related material while he can not take part in election campaign in any way being a government officer. He also addressed a political gathering of a candidate in February. .
添ou are directed to appear in EC office on February 05 to give reply on the matter of violation of election code of conduct, notice said.
EC has also issued notice to the JUI-F candidate Kafil Nizami who had invited Zia ul Rehman to address the gathering. He has been directed to appear in DMO Office on February 05.
