ISLAMABAD: Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has accorded approval to give financial assistance of Rs 4.77 billion to family members of missing persons. ECC met under the finance minister Muhammad Aurangzeb. The finance ministry while giving briefing said approval for Rs of 5.76 billion for establishment of Danish schools and issuance of funds for Youth Skill development program has been given. ECC has directed to consider over public private partnership in Danish schools. It also accorded approval to development schemes in Sindh and KP and additional budget for PTDC. Finance ministry further told that ECC has directed PTDC to present comprehensive business plan. ONLINE
Approval has also been given for change in rules of fan replacement program in ECC.
According to finance ministry new procedure will be meant for less use of the electricity. Rs 200 billion have been approved to address the financial problems of DISCOs. Rs 6.35 billion have been approved for electricity projects.
Approval has been given to provide financial assistance of Rs 4.77 billion to 945 families of missing persons.
Provision of funds for repair of helicopters of FC Balochistan and Rangers and construction of 104 new family suits for the members of parliament have also been approved.
