ECP again summons KP CM in case of violation of election code of conduct

ISLAMABAD
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has again summoned Chief Minister (CM,) KP Sohail Afridi in the case of violation of election code of conduct in by polls. The ECP has issued notice to wife of former opposition leader Omar Ayub as well.
ECP will hear the cases related to violation of election code of conduct at 10 a.m on December 10.
ECP has issued cause list. According to cause list CM KP has been again summoned in the case of violation of election code of conduct.
Earlier the CM KP had appeared before ECP. He was granted exemption from attendance.
As per cause list the ECP will hear the case against Special Assistant to Prime Minister Hazifa Rehman for violating the code of conduct in NA -185 D.G Khan and case against PML-N leader Murtaza Abbasi on December 10.
The petition against election irregularities filed by PTI backed independent candidate Shehr Naz Ayub will also come up for hearing.
