Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement, Aaqib Ullah Khan has issued directives for the return of 14 operational staff members of Rescue 1122, who had been serving on deputation in the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to their respective parent departments.
The minister said that this decision is part of the government’s reform agenda “BAWAR”, aimed at strengthening public trust and improving institutional efficiency. He emphasized that the move will help make relief activities more effective and better coordinated during emergency situations.
Aaqib Ullah Khan praised Rescue 1122 as a dynamic, organized and public-friendly institution that provides timely assistance and relief in all types of emergencies and disasters. He reaffirmed that reform initiatives will continue to ensure improved emergency services and prompt relief delivery to the people.
The provincial minister further stated that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains fully committed to serving, protecting, and ensuring the welfare of its citizens through all possible measures.
