PESHAWAR: Peshtakhara police continued crackdown against anti-social elements and arrested a number of criminal suspects. According to a statement, crackdown was launched on the special instructions of SP Cantt Division Aitzaz Arif under the supervision of DSP Pashtakhara Circle Sajjad Hussain, SHO Police Station Pashtakhara Umar Afridi. Police said the arrested persons were allegedly involved in motorcycle theft, ice, hashish seller and other crimes. Police during the operation have seized one stolen motorcycle, three pistols, one kilogram of hashish and ice worth thousands of rupees. DC visits RHC Gumbat, Khushal Garh check post
KOHAT: Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram on Tuesday visited Rural Health Center (RHC) Tehsil Gumbat where he reviewed attendance of staff, cleanliness condition, pharmacy, wards and other facilities being provided to the patients. He also directed the authorities concerned to ensure timely provision of better treatment facilities to the patients.
He strictly directed staff to ensure their presence in the hospital all the time and improve public services and sanitation conditions.
Later, he visited the Joint Check Post of Khushal Gharh and met with staff. He directed them to keep vigil eye on smuggling of edibles, unregister vehicles and unlawful activities.
