ISLAMABAD: Electricity tariff is likely to be scaled down for one month. Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has filed application in NEPRA in this respect. Application was filed under head of fuel price adjustment for the month of October. NEPRA will hear CPPA application on November 26. The decision in regard to this application will not be applicable to K-Electric consumers. According to CPA electricity was sold 9.98 billion units in the month of October while fuel cost per unit production remained Rs 9.26. Per unit fuel cost was estimated at Rs 10.27 in October. ONLINE
