PESHAWAR: An Elite Force official identified as Ziaullah, was killed in a firing incident in Charsadda district on Thursday. According to police, unidentified motorcycle riders opened fire on a Qingqi rickshaw at Patki Chowk, within the jurisdiction of City Police Station. Ziaullah, who was posted with the Elite Force in Peshawar, was killed in the attack, while the Qingqi rickshaw driver sustained injuries. The body of the deceased official was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital. The assailants fled the scene after carrying out the attack. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the unidentified attackers. APP
