ETEA suspends all scheduled tests due to Covid-19 surge in KP

The Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) a public sector agency for conducting screening tests for educational institutions, on Tuesday postponed all the tests scheduled including the test of education departments for various cadres due to surge in Covid-19 cases Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to a notification issued by the ETEA “ In the wake of the situation created due to the surge of Covid-19, all the tests scheduled under ETEA, including the tests of Elementary and Secondary Education Department Project, are hereby postponed with immediate effect, till further orders”.
The agency informed that all tests will be rescheduled after the instruction of the NCOC and the provincial Home and Tribal Affairs department.
The candidates who applied for various posts have been asked to visit the websites and social media pages of the ETEA for information. It is pertinent to mention here that KP on Tuesday has reported 854 new cases of Covid-19 and three deaths due to the virus.
According to a health department report the number of total coronavirus cases in the province has surged to 4514.
