The employees have not been paid for 11 months despite repeated assurance from KP govt and health department

The employees health projects in erstwhile Fata staged a protest demonstration outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly building against the non-payment of their monthly salaries and service regularization.
The protest rally was organized by “ All Fata Health Project Employees Union”.
The employees mostly women are associated with health sector different projects in ex-Fata have not been paid for several months and their service regularization is also pendding despite repeated assuarnce on the part Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department.
The General Secretary of the above-mentioned union Israr Ahmed addressed the protest and demanded that the abuse and mental torture of health projects workers should be stopped.
Carrying banners and placards, the participants of the protest condemned the provincial government attitude toward ex-Fata employees.
Chanting slogans against the policy, they asked the health authorities to play its role in releasing withheld salaries and regularization of their services.
Israr Ahmed told reporters that salaries of employees working in different health projects in erstwhile Fata have not been paid for 11 months.
He maintained that despite closed salaries, the employees performing their duties.
The employees threatened to immolate themselves if their dues were not cleared at the earliest.
