Excise department to establish service centre to deal with public complaints

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Excise and Narcotic department has decided to establish Service Centre to deal with day to day growing number of public complaints.
The service centre will provide all service including information related Token tax for public. A computer system will also introduced at the service centre and all the record of the department will be computerized so that all the information could be centralized.
According to reliable sources, these initiatives are being taken to address the problems facing general public. The public is also facing difficulties due to shortage of staff, while the process is also delayed due to increased workload.
Following the issuance of directives by CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, the work on the project has been started. Citizens will be provided all facilities at service centres in Rawalpindi region.
