Excise officials seize 504,000 grams of hashish in Khyber

In a significant operation, the Excise Special Squad in Khyber has thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt, recovering 504,000 grams of hashish and arresting one suspect.
The operation was conducted by a team led by Syed Naveed Jamal, Excise and Taxation Officer, and included personnel from the Excise Special Squad and Narcotics Control. The suspect, Muhammad Naeem Khan, was arrested at ALC checkpoint, and a case has been registered against him.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has directed strict action against drug traffickers, stating that the government will not tolerate this menace. Excise Minister, Syed Fakhar Jehan, has also instructed zero-tolerance policy against those involved in drug smuggling and sales.
