Eye symposium on diagnostic ophthalmology held in PMC

The Ophthalmology Society of Pakistan (OSP) in collaboration with Peshawar Medical College (PMC) organized a one-day eye symposium titled “Diagnostic Ophthalmology.
Distinguished ophthalmologists, clinicians, and academicians from various institutions converged at the prestigious PMC Auditorium to share their invaluable insights and expertise.
The event was attended by President OSP, KP, Dr. Shafqatullah Marwat; President-elect, Prof. Dr. Mahfooz Hussain; General Secretary, Dr. Imran; Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman; Dean of PMC, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aman Khan, Principal ,PMC ;Prof. Dr. Ziaul Islam; Prof. Dr. Shad Mohammad Khan and other renowned ophthalmologists.
Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, the Dean of Peshawar Medical College, shed light on the outreach services offered by the Ophthalmology Department of PMC.
Prof. Dr. Zafar ul Islam, a distinguished expert in the field, delivered an enlightening talk on the application of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis of glaucoma.
Dr. Yousuf Jamal, whose presentation provided valuable insights into the latest developments in the assessment of Visual Fields.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan, who underscored the significance of meticulous research articles and review preparation.
Dr. Faisal Nawaz, whose talk was centered around key aspects of B-Scan technology, a vital tool in diagnostics.
Dr. Imran Ahmed and Dr. Nazli Gul, who discussed Wide Angle Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) and the intricacies of Hess chart and its interpretation, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic tools.
