Prevention of natural calamity and wars
PESHAWAR
Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has appealed world community, UN and major powers to initiate a joint mission for prevention of natural calamity, unrest and wars.
Faiq in a statement issued here on Saturday called upon the world and international organisations to take collective steps to end hunger, starvation and poverty instead of indulging in arms race.
A world mission should be constituted in this regard, which would strengthen economically, cognitively and educationally to weak and poor countries, he added. It would make world society a cradle of peace, he hoped. Shah noted hundreds of thousands people have faced starvation and tragedy in war-ravaged Afghanistan. He warned the major powers of facing consequences of the current Afghan situation.
The ATP chief held the major powers responsible for the prevailing scenario after the pullout of the U.S led allied troops from Afghanistan.
He continued to say that the issue of economic chaos and food scarcity is rising rapidly. He added hunger has become an issue in every house.
He added expropriation of natural resources is against nature, saying that the right to be people must be given to those areas wherein these natural deposits were discovered.
Shah termed that the speech of the PM Shehbaz Sharif at the United Nations was not comprehensive and restricted merely to traditional proceedings.
He urged the Islamic countries and those who are highly in favour of bringing peace to devise a joint policy in order to make it viable and effective.
The party leader emphasized that delivering justice to downtrodden and marginalized nations of the world should be made priority.
Similarly, he stressed the issue of hunger, starvation and food scarcity should be taken seriously and resolve them on urgent grounds.
