Faiq calls for enhancing Pak-Iran trade volume

Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party threw high weight behind the three-day official visit of Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in Pakistan amid rising Iran-Israel tension.
In the prevailing scenario, he said President Raisi visit to Pakistan is highly important.
He said Pakistan has always attempted to build up cohesion, regional peace, stability and development, which remained very productive.
Pakistan and Iran tied with cordial trade, culture and political relationship, he added.
Faiq in a statement here on Monday called for further improving mutual collaboration between two brotherly Islamic countries.
He said Pak-Iran trade volume is highly negligible, which should be improved.
The party leader stressed the need for timely completion of Pak-Iran gas pipeline project to fulfill growing gas and energy needs in Pakistan.
He said conflicts have always brought destruction which had badly affected millions of people across the globe.
Shah emphasized the peaceful solution of issues to maintain harmony and lasting calm in the Middle East and rest of the world.
He said issues of Palestine and Kashmir should be resolved as per relevant UN resolutions.
The ATP chief demanded Muslim ummah and world organisation intervention to end the rising human genocide and Human Rights violations in occupied Palestine and Kashmir.
He also demanded proactive role of OIC to combat the challenging that have confronted the Muslim world, especially Islamophobia and anti-Muslim narratives.
Similarly, he asked Pakistan to adopt an aggressive foreign policy and diplomacy on the Kashmir and Palestine issue and raise these core issues at a global forum proactively.
Faiq asked for global efforts to remove hunger, poverty so that would safe lives of millions of people as wars weren’t never solution to the issues.
Condemning the humanitarian costs of the ongoing Gaza war that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, he called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
