PESHAWAR
Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah called rulers and institutions to be united at a single platform by immediately enforcing a transparent economic and political system.
Faiq in a statement here on Friday asked political parties to end interference and culture of personal like and dislike.
He suggested formation of a joint board of wisdom and honesty and appointment and transfer should be made on recommendation of this board.
The ATP chief said the impression of un-involvement between Punjab government and bureaucracy isn’t corrected, because PML-N and PPP are the founders of meritless, bribe and commission mafia.
He said centre and provinces have been divided as per wishes of various personalities and things cannot be moved without their permission.
This is not governance, but fascism and monarch-formed government, he added.
Faiq said institutions have been ruined by commission, favoritism and nepotism in which appeasement is extreme and performance is zero.
He stressed that competent youth should be lifted as per merit to change the whole system through reforms.
The ATP chief suggested formation of advisory boards of experts and intellectuals.
He emphasized merit must be prioritized in bureaucracy, research institutions and policy-making departments/bodies.
Shah called for appointment of experts for investment and diplomatic relations under the motto of Diplomacy for Investment.
He gave proposals for the formation of boards to remove corruption and nepotism in financial institutions, which should check and monitor their performance.
The ATP leader said the reward and punishment system should be based on equality and prejudice-free.
He said transfer and suspension isn’t a solution to the issues.
Shah went on to say that if a person wasn’t performing duty efficiently and accurately in one position.
Will he/she be freed from corruption?
He made it clear that institutions cannot perform well until enforcement of the principle of the right man for the right job.
