PESHAWAR
Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has noticed people have been presently deprived from electricity, gas, water and petroleum products, compelling them to agitate on streets and queue up for these basic facilities.
Shah while chairing a meeting regarding the prevailing scenario in the country here at the party’s main office on Monday said that basic issues like water and employment have been snatched right to live from people.
Solution is laying in only formation of a joint Board of Wisdom and Honesty [BWH], wherein all institutions, political and social segments, media, ulema, think tanks and other relevant bodies/authorities should be included, he stressed.
The ATP chairman asserted it is imperative that the proposed board be autonomous in decision making, which should make long-lasting and sustainable policies and ensure their implementation with due letter and spirit.
Faiq hoped that the proposed board would play a pivotal role in elimination of ‘personalitism’, ‘Tug of War’ for gaining power and corruption forever.
Shah feared that inflation would ‘sky-rocketed’ to a new peak if the prices of petroleum products would be further increased in the country.
He observed already everything has become out of the purchasing power of the common man.
Faiq asked: “How much more injustice and exploitation of people will be carried out”?
The ATP chief made it clear that murder of people on name of democracy was intolerable. He noticed this is a fight of personalities, vowing that his party will strongly resist it.
The party leader made it clear that topmost priority wasn’t given to objectives, manifesto, progress and prosperity as only personalities are being followed.
This is the original conspiracy, whether it be called internal or external, but it’s an actual conspiracy, says Shah.
He warned if the priority shouldn’t be given to objectives, manifesto and progress then no institution will remain on the right path and direction.
He observed the country has been divided into heads of the mainstream political parties including Zardari, Nawaz Sharif,
Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazl Ur Rahman, owing to which, manifesto, objectives, public issues and national institutions are lagging behind.
He added it is unjust which had been made with our nation as mere slogans and claims have been left alone.
Everyone will be continuously fighting over personalities while people are erasing swiftly, he added.
